It’s not just about orientation – it is also about job skills training, health and safety and recognizing all employees who are being welcomed into the company.

One Way... Right Way matches the learning needs of the individual trainee. Fully customized training enhances learning for maximum job performance.
Digital Mentor Group was challenged to reduce inconsistencies and waste in the production process, while decreasing time to competency for new hires for a major agri-food organization.
Traditional job shadowing and orientation for new employees was ineffective and causing an already high turnover rate to grow as employees found themselves ill-equipped for the demands of their work.
Working with SMEs and staff, our team designed and developed three different programs to address these issues; a New Employee Orientation Program (NEOP), a Skill Building Program, and a Job Skills Training Program. Each program was adaptable and was customized for six different processing facilities, located in a variety of jurisdictions.
The implementation of this new training system by Digital Mentor Group has led to a significant decrease in time to competence. New employees of this organization are now making a contribution to production almost immediately after they arrive on the production floor.
The company has found significantly increased levels of quality and product consistency and reduced issues around regulatory compliance as a result of better training and processing procedures. Employee turnover, one of the original reasons for the project, has been reduced from over 100% to near zero.
